Capítol 6: Convertir-se en un mentor
Steve va tenir un cert èxit en sortir i volia compartir els seus coneixements amb els altres. Va recordar els seus dies com a entusiasta del tren i va pensar que altres persones podrien aprendre de la seva experiència. Una nit, va crear un esquema per a un curs d'artista de recollida anomenat "Train to Attraction: A Journey from Zero to Hero". Se sentia emocionat i decidit.
La setmana següent, Steve va convidar un petit grup al seu pis per a la primera sessió. Entre ells hi havia Darren, un home tímid amb ulleres que semblava tenir l'edat de l'Steve.
"Comencem, tots", va dir l'Steve, dempeus davant del grup. "Som aquí perquè volem ser millors amb les dones, oi?"
El grup va estar d'acord.
"El primer pas és canviar la teva mentalitat", va explicar Steve. "Has de creure en tu mateix i tenir confiança quan parles amb dones".
"Com ho podem fer?" Va preguntar en Darren nerviosament.
"Practica i experiència, Darren. Com més ho intentis, més segur tindràs".
Steve va passar una hora parlant de les tècniques que havia après. Va parlar d'obres, negació i llenguatge corporal, fent servir voluntaris per demostrar.
Al final, Steve va preguntar si algú tenia preguntes.
"I si a una dona no li interessa?" va preguntar en Rob.
"Gran pregunta", va respondre Steve. "No tothom estarà interessat, i això està bé. Aprèn de cada interacció i segueix endavant".
El grup semblava feliç amb la resposta de l'Steve.
Quan marxaven, Darren va parlar amb Steve. "Gràcies per això, Steve. Sempre he lluitat amb la confiança. Això em podria ajudar".
Steve va somriure. "De nada, company. Recorda que és un viatge, i estem tots junts".
Darren va marxar amb els altres, i l'Steve es va sentir orgullós. Estava emocionat de veure com progressarien els seus alumnes.
Chapter 6: Becoming a Mentor
Steve had some success in dating and wanted to share his knowledge with others. He remembered his days as a train enthusiast and thought other people could learn from his experience. One night, he created an outline for a pick-up artist course called "Train to Attraction: A Journey from Zero to Hero." He felt excited and purposeful.
The next week, Steve invited a small group to his flat for the first session. Among them was Darren, a shy man with glasses who seemed to be Steve's age.
"Let's start, everyone," Steve said, standing in front of the group. "We're here because we want to be better with women, right?"
The group agreed.
"The first step is changing your mindset," Steve explained. "You need to believe in yourself and be confident when talking to women."
"How can we do that?" Darren asked nervously.
"Practice and experience, Darren. The more you try, the more confident you'll become."
Steve spent an hour talking about techniques he had learned. He discussed openers, negging, and body language, using volunteers to demonstrate.
At the end, Steve asked if anyone had questions.
"What if a woman isn't interested?" Rob asked.
"Great question," Steve answered. "Not everyone will be interested, and that's fine. Learn from each interaction and keep going."
The group seemed happy with Steve's response.
As they left, Darren spoke to Steve. "Thanks for this, Steve. I've always struggled with confidence. This could help me."
Steve smiled. "You're welcome, mate. Remember, it's a journey, and we're all in this together."
Darren left with the others, and Steve felt proud. He was excited to see how his students would progress.
