Kapitulo 8: Mitubo ang Pamilya, Mitubo ang Kasubo
Mitan-aw si Liisa sa bintana. Nakita niya si Antti sa hardin. “Antti, tabangi ko, palihog,” tawag niya.
Misulod si Antti. "Unsay problema?" Nangutana si Liisa.
"Gibati nako nga adunay kulang," ingon ni Antti.
"Ako ba kini?" Nangutana si Liisa.
“Dili, dili ikaw,” ni Antti. "Gusto lang nako nga lahi."
Naguol si Liisa. Wala sila kahibalo kung unsaon pag-ayo ang ilang problema.
Chapter 8: Family Grows, Sadness Grows
Liisa looked out the window. She saw Antti in the garden. "Antti, help me, please," she called.
Antti came inside. "What's wrong?" Liisa asked.
"I feel something is missing," Antti said.
"Is it me?" Liisa asked.
"No, it's not you," Antti said. "I just want something different."
Liisa felt sad. They didn't know how to fix their problem.
