Capítol 5: Els admiradors
La primera cançó de Twelve Forever es va anar fent més popular i van començar a fer espectacles en directe. Ràpidament es van adonar que la majoria dels seus fans eren joves adolescents. Als nois els encantava veure les dones grans vestides d'escolars a l'escenari.
Després d'un concert, en Tomoko va dir emocionada al grup: "Has vist tots els nois del públic aquesta nit? Ens estaven animant molt!" Ella va riure, trobant-ho divertit.
La Noriko va estar d'acord: "Sí, jo també ho vaig veure. Sembla que som molt populars amb aquest grup d'edat". Ella també va riure.
A mesura que més nois adolescents es feien fans, venien més entrades. Aviat, Twelve Forever va estar tocant a llocs plens i aconseguint cada cop més fans.
Un dia, quan les dones estaven al seu pis de Setagaya, Sachiko va ensenyar a les seves amigues un article sobre elles. "Mireu això, noies. Els diaris ens diuen "Els ídols improbables". Diuen que som diferents dels altres col·lectius, i per això els agraden als joves”.
Junko va afegir: "És genial que tinguem un grup de fans tan lleials. Els nois són tan macos i guapos, oi?"
Akiko va estar d'acord: "Absolutament! És genial veure'ls tan emocionats amb els nostres espectacles. Ens fa sentir molt especials".
Twelve Forever va seguir fent espectacles i aconseguint més fans. Van pensar que era divertit que fossin populars entre els més joves. Tot i que de vegades era difícil, es van mantenir amics propers i volien fer el possible amb el seu nou èxit.
Emiko va dir, rient amb les seves amigues: "Hem aconseguit molt, i tot és gràcies als nostres encantadors fans. Seguim treballant dur i demostrant-los que l'edat és només una xifra i que pots seguir els teus somnis en qualsevol moment".
Chapter 5: The Admirers
Twelve Forever's first song was getting more popular, and they started doing live shows. They quickly realised that most of their fans were young teenage boys. The boys loved watching the older women dressed as schoolgirls on stage.
After one concert, Tomoko said excitedly to the group, "Did you see all the young lads in the audience tonight? They were really cheering for us!" She laughed, finding it funny.
Noriko agreed, "Yes, I saw that as well. It looks like we're really popular with that age group." She also laughed.
As more teenage boys became fans, they sold more tickets. Soon, Twelve Forever were playing to full venues and getting more and more fans.
One day, when the women were at their flat in Setagaya, Sachiko showed her friends an article about them. "Look at this, girls. The newspapers are calling us 'The Unlikely Idols.' They say we're different from other groups, and that's why the young people like us."
Junko added, "It's great that we have such a loyal group of fans. The young boys are so cute and good-looking, aren't they?"
Akiko agreed, "Absolutely! It's brilliant to see them so excited about our shows. It makes us feel really special."
Twelve Forever kept doing shows and getting more fans. They thought it was funny that they were popular with younger people. Even though it was sometimes hard, they stayed close friends and wanted to do their best with their new success.
Emiko said, laughing with her friends, "We've achieved so much, and it's all thanks to our lovely fans. Let's keep working hard and show them that age is only a number, and you can follow your dreams at any time."
